In I Saw You, Marnie has begun working at Soojin's art gallery. Marnie leaves to the hotel room Hannah is staying for an article, where she meets Desi, a fellow actor who is in the same play as Adam, who expresses interest in her and her singing abilities. He claims he wants to end their arrangement as he desries a real relationship. In Incidentals, Marnie goes to Ray's apartment only for him to end whatever they have going on. Marnie intends for the weekend to be healing for the girls' friendships, but it ends in total disaster after Shoshanna has a meltdown and the girls argue. In Beach House, Marnie invites the girls to her mother's friend's beach house where they will stay the weekend. Her and Ray continue to see each other as friends, because they have nobody else to Surprisingly, this ends in the two having sex. In the Only Child, Marnie looks to Ray to tell her everything that is wrong with her. In Dead Inside, Marnie catches Ray and Hermie watching the Youtube video and quits her job at Grumpy's. That night, she throws Hannah's 25th Birthday party, where she forces Hannah to recreate a duet they did together in college. In She Said OK, Marnie discovers that Charlie has yet to remove an embarrassing Youtube video of her, and fights with the telephone assistant about removing it. Season Three Īt the start of the third season, it is revealed that Marnie and Charlie are no longer together and that she is living with her mother. She's last walking going out with Charlie. She later visits Hannah's apartment after receiving a distress call from her, but leaves when Hannah hides under the bed. After a heated brunch together, the two ultimately confess their love for one another. In A Glaring Rivalry!, they confronted Gladion in an attempt to steal his Umbreon, but were swiftly defeated by his Lycanroc.In the season finale, Marnie and Charlie have begun engaging in casual sex, much to her disbelief. In the end, Team Rocket ended up with the Darkinium Z. They fought against Team Rocket, who were also trying to take the Z-Crystal. In A Team-on-Team Tussle!, the trio tried to take a Darkinium Z that was stuck in a mountain, which was being guarded by multiple Alolan Rattata and Raticate. They then battled Ash and Delia, but were soon defeated by Pikachu's Gigavolt Havoc again. In Alolan Open House!, Tupp, Rapp, and Zipp attempted to steal three Ride Tauros. They were attacking a Popplio when Lana appeared with her Lapras and defeated them with Ice Beam. Several Grunts appeared in a flashback in Yo, Ho, Ho! Go, Popplio!. However, they were soon defeated by Pikachu's Gigavolt Havoc. They reappeared in Young Kiawe Had a Farm!, using their Zubat, Salandit, and Garbodor to get revenge on Kiawe. Kiawe was able to defeat the three grunts by having his Turtonator use the Z-Move, Inferno Overdrive, causing them to retreat. Ash and Pikachu stepped in to assist Kiawe as they felt that what the three grunts were doing was unfair. Kiawe accepted the challenge and then sent out Turtonator. The trio made a bet with Kiawe, saying they would get his Charizard if they won.
Team Skull Grunts debuted in Alola to New Adventure! when three of them, Tupp, Rapp, and Zipp, were seen harassing Kiawe and then taking him on in a Pokémon battle.
